I called Avis before I went to the place to aquire a rental car. Over the phone an associate told me I could use a debit card to obtain a rental car. He also told me that if I took a cab to the store, that my cab fair would be reimbursed. It turned out he was wrong on both accounts. I could not obtain a rental car and since I could not my cab fair would not be reimbursed. This left me with no car no ride home $15 dollars and an hour and a half wasted.
Rude employees and bad corporate service. I reserved a sedan online and they only had 12 passenger vans. They offered little in the way of customer service and operate with 1980s technology.
Every place is different and I'm just recently new to Colorado and so far best experience in this location and I rent vehicle monthly due to work and pleasure. But def great place Tony was top notch service.
Was charged $300.00 in unauthorized charges for damages without being notified until two months later. This is disappointing and a scam for honest people.
Tim is HORRIBLE!! I would drive further to another location if you can. He was rude and condescending. I wanted to exchange my vehicle the Denver airport location gave me because it was very dirty and they did not have another vehicle to exchange, the airport rep suggested I go to another Avis and exchange it. I came here and no one was at counter when I walked in. Tim came out and insisted he could clean it for me and did not have anything to exchange it for because then he would be short a vehicle for his reservations (which makes no sense if I am trading it, he would end up with same number of vehicles). He called someone (assuming manager) who told him to exchange it out. He had me fill the tank of the car I got from airport (only drove 30 miles but was completely fine and understood to do that), I put in $3ish which is when it refused to pump anymore due to the tank being full. I brought it back and Tim insisted I did not fill it and to take it back and do it again. I did and only got another 50 cents in because IT WAS FULL! Then he was rude and acted like I was a huge inconvenience and he had ALLL this paperwork to do (I got 2 pieces of paperwork so not alot). He also told me he was putting a note in my account that I said airport did not have any more vehicles so that if I am lying they will charge me alot more when I return it. Once I was done and leaving I asked for his name and his whole attitude changed telling me how he always tries to "help his customers". DO NOT GO HERE, I am sure anywhere else will have better customer service. The airport location however was great, just extremely busy and overbooekd.
