I love going to Muttz for my dog and cats treats! They provide a wide variety all year long with special pastries for made for each holiday.
On Saturday August 18th at approximately 12 pm I had a disturbing incident happen. What happened there was this. I had my two kiddos plus another little one I watch. They were all three standing at the fish tank while I talked to an employee. Another employee came out of the back and told them to not tap on the fish tank. Okay no big deal. My two year old did it again so I told him to stop tapping on the tank. Next thing I know this lady came FLYING out of the back balls to the wall and was completely unnecessarily rude to them. So I stepped in and said I literally just corrected them so there was absolutely no reason for you to be that rude to my children instead apologizing like you should in a customer service position she started to argue and yell at me. I once again told her she was out of line to be that rude to my children and she continued to argue with me. My issue is not with the fact that she corrected them but the manner in which she did it. And then argued with me after I asked her to not. Not only did she argue but she raised her voice. I am glad to know that she thinks its acceptable behavior in front of children aged 2-4. This woman at a minimum needs to be talked to about appropriate customer service. You guys lost about $300/month in business from me because Im feeding two giant breed dogs very high quality food.
My dog absolutely loves the treats sold here, and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
I come here because it's local and they carry Fromm at a more reasonable price than national competitors. This place is very clean, always well-stocked, and the staff is knowledgeable (though not always super friendly). There's some overpriced BS here, but that's the case with any pet store. They generally have a broad selection of fairly-priced pet supplies, and it's always easy to get in and out with no hassle.
