I love shopping here. The atmosphere, service and music make me want to stay for hours. The prices are great and the service professional. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but I have learned that on the west and east side of the building there is additional parking and I dont let this stop me from visiting on a monthly basis. I have found little trinkets for my friends and grandkids for every season and just this past Christmas we found our granddaughter a beautiful vintage vanity that she will enjoy well into her teens and will most likely pass down to her children at an amazing price. I could rave for hours.
We had a great experience at afternoon tea! All the food was great! She serves small portions of a lot of different dishes and they were all delicious! Sandy was very attentive, but not hovering! She was a great hostess!
The atmosphere is cute and charming, but I get better customer service at gas stations. When we arrived it took awhile to be greeted. The lady at the register was helping someone, but there was another 1 standing there just staring at us(?) Didn't realize we needed a reservation, so there was no tea. Where is that info posted and how do people know that before going in? When I asked what the limit was for a group she answered, but reiterated that we wouldn't be able to eat there today. Thanks - that's not what I asked. When it came time to pay, the woman checked to see if I was holding more merchandise. That might have just been an honest mistake, but it was really insulting. I'm wondering why my experience was so bad, everyone else left raving reviews (which is why I went). I was trying to do something nice for my mom who has health issues and doesn't get to do things very often. Irritating to have wasted the bit of time I have with her on something like this.
Sandy was so accommodating and kind. I took my class of students with different abilities and Sandy was super kind and caring towards them. As a person who loves to go to high tea with my own family, I can honestly say that this was the prettiest setting for tea that I have been to. I can't wait to go back!
I had an amazing experience. We had the whole tea room to ourselves! The tea is great. We had good appetizers salad soup and grilled cheese plus great desserts. The shop itself is also good. We bought a few items.
