Owner is there every time I go in. Very friendly, and the service is quick. I go in for breakfast sandwiches and rubens. Both are excellent.
Just had a sandwich at DZ not sure why it wasn't toasted. Not as good as usual. Very quiet in there. A TV or radio would be great. Collge football on Saturday could work.
Small little place with a hardworking married couple. The husband here is very friendly and his wife (I'm assuming) is a bit rough on her English but she got my order in. But the vibe from not only her and him are nice they show you how hard they work to make your visit a good one. The food was delicious and I'll be a returning customer for sure.
Not gluten-free friendly at all. The owner didn't know if his green chili has flour, suggested it did, then told me I would be okay because 30 years ago gluten free didn't exist. Then told me he couldn't make my meal on hashbrowns instead of the bread it came with.
No other sub shop in town comes close to Deli Zone's sandwiches! Brooklyn Bomb is a personal favorite. F-Train is also excellent. I've never had a bad sandwich here. The service is as you would expect for a counter service sub shop: quick and to the point.
