Dr. K truly is about the animal and the owner and not making vet care so outrageously expensive that you wonder if you can afford to own a pet. It may be a small shop, but they are out to make a positive difference.
They were really nice and welcoming. The doctor was gentle with our pup and let her warm up to him before carefully examining her. They are reasonably priced and the place, in general, has a good atmosphere. I highly recommend this Vet because they are genuine with the animals they see and kind to the humans.
I love this place! I found this place on a whim because I was looking for a clinic close by and that had excellent reviews. Rock Creek fit both of those categories. Though if I were to move to a different area I would still comeback that is how much I love them! I have been here quite a few times in the last few months because my little has a proclivity for have some sort of health issue pop up. My poor pup had a growth that needed to be removed and in terrible need of a dental. The last time he had a dental at a Banfield he almost died and that was incredible stressful time and he had a lot of complications afterword. So much so I never took him to have a dental or get a procedure involving him to be put under again (4 years). The vet, Dr. Kalenzi was great explaining everything after I told him all my worries and freaking out about what could happen. After he detailed everything he was going to do I was confident my pup would be just fine, and he was! He had no issues and was perfectly fine after his dental and having his masses removed. I have had to bring him back a few more time for him getting stomach issues eating things he isnt supposed to (pugssigh), and the Dr has helped cleared those issues up. He is fantastic and knowledgeable and very focused on your animal. The staff are great and helpful as well as his lovely wife and children who are at the clinic too. It feels like a nice family atmosphere where they really care about you and doing what is best for your fur babies.
Family atmosphere, amazing people. They really care and will go the extra mile to take care of you and your loved pet.My dog Kai was roughly 4 months old when he had a high fever and couldn't walk. It may have been an allergic reaction to a flea preventative. Not only did they take the best care of my puppy, they went and talked to the manufacturer and explained the situation and had my bill comped by them. Patrick is a fantastic guy and his family is always around smiling. They are a wonderful family and amazing vets. Could not recommend them more. :)-Cory & Kai
